The Ceremony Store - Celebrants Collective
We have worked together for many years and we all love what we do! See some clips of our recent ceremonies to hear our voices and see if we fit your vibe!
Bernardine and Mark’s wedding was held at the beautiful Tanglewood Estate, down on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. They wanted a fun, family and friends centered affair, where classiness and laughs mashed together, and we did it! This gorgeous clip was filmed by Scott of Cyan Wolves, an artist of videography he has shot at many of our weddings.
Melissa’s iPad is always in fire! She loves a fun, relaxed ceremony and believes that couple should celebrate their day, their way. The clip below is a great example of the vibe she likes to create-after she she sets the scene for the whole day ahead-so its important that the ceremony has laughs, class and a whole lotta love!
Derry and Nola’s wedding took place at Inglewood Estate at Kangaroo Ground, Victoria. They enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony and family time prior to the ceremony, then got some friends involved with readings during the ceremony. Derry calls Nola his ‘lobster’ definitely a nickname I have never heard before! This clip comes from Yong Video who work hard to capture every moment of your day.
Russell works hard to create heartfelt ceremonies and has the smoothest voice in the east! Russell has a house full of girls so he knows exactly what he needs to do to make them happy-and that is listen to them! He loves to work with our couples to create moving, classy, ceremonies with a deep hearty laugh in the middle of them.
Matthew and Emily’s wedding took place at a personal favourite, Poets Lane in Sherbrooke, Victoria. They had a very relaxed, fun ceremony, in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, in the middle of Sherbrooke Forest. Personalised vows were the focus of the ceremony and Melissa was a party starter for the rest of the celebrations ahead. Clip is from Cutting Edge Video Productions.
In Perry v. Brown, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals wrote, “Marriage is the name that society gives to the relationship that matters most between two adults… The word marriage is singular in connoting a harmony in living, a bilateral loyalty, and a coming together for better or for worse, hopefully enduring, and intimate to the degree of being sacred… It is the designation of marriage itself that expresses validation, by the state and the community, and that serves as a symbol… of something profoundly important.”
Civil marriage has been described by another court as “a deeply personal commitment to another human being and a highly public celebration of the ideals of mutuality, companionship, intimacy, fidelity, and family… Because it fulfils yearnings for security, safe haven, and connection that express our common humanity, civil marriage is an esteemed institution, and the decision whether and whom to marry is among life’s momentous acts of self-definition.”
And it is for this reason that we at The Ceremony Store support all marriages, all people, all races, all religions, all sexualities, all genders, all varieties of football team supporters and all parents of fur babies.
